Think outside the box

 

Creative skateboarding is always the best skateboarding. I went out skating with a big crew this past Saturday, and while everyone went to go skate a near by gap, Kevin decided to get creative and made a spot out of an old tire and a sewer grate.

Blue Banks

A couple of weeks ago Columbus was blessed with another "warm" February day. Around here we don't take these days for granted. So Andy Helvey and myself had a quick warm up at the Gahanna skatepark and hit a spot better known as the "Blue Banks". It is a rough spot with old rock covered asphalt and steep concrete banks, making it hard to get speed. It is a challenging yet fun place to skate. Here's a couple pics from our session. JP
